This policy explains how the simplewodtimer.com website, published by VD SOFTWARE, uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

It covers the website only. The mobile app does not use cookies; its processing (including usage statistics) is described in the Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small file saved on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies exist, such as the browser's local storage. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of them.

They are essential for the website to work and do not require your consent:

• locale (cookie, 1 year): remembers the language you chose (English or French).
• swt-cookie-consent (local storage): remembers your choice about measurement cookies, so we don't ask again on every visit.

These tools are used only with your prior consent, given through the banner. Until you accept, none of them is loaded and no measurement or advertising cookie is set. They are never active on shared video pages (simplewodtimer.com/v/…).

Google Analytics (Google): traffic measurement (page views, traffic sources, device, journey). Legal basis: consent. Duration: cookies up to 13 months, data kept for the configured period (14 months at most).

Meta Pixel (Meta, Facebook and Instagram): measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns (page visit, click to a store). Legal basis: consent. Duration: up to 180 days for cookies, then under Meta's policy for the events sent.

Microsoft Clarity: anonymized analysis of how the website is used (clicks, scrolling, heatmaps) to spot what gets in the way. Legal basis: consent. Duration: up to 13 months.

These tools are set and operated under the responsibility of their publishers, according to their own policies. Some of them may process data outside the European Union, within the framework described in the Privacy Policy.

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse measurement cookies, one as easily as the other. If you refuse, only strictly necessary cookies remain active and the website works the same.

You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page: the banner comes back and you make a new choice. You can also clear the website's storage in your browser settings.

Your choice is kept for at most 6 months; we will then ask you again.
